1 Autogenous Cartilaginous Rhinoplasty is absorbed or not ?
Yes, it is absorbable, but just 15%-20% absorbable, the experienced doctors implant the absorbable tissue to nasal tip , it will not influence surgery effect
2 What do I do if my nose tip became flat?
The tip of our nose is made of soft cartilage and it does not have enough strength to hold the nose tip, so if the cartilage is placed on top, it may become flat.
our medical staff will insert an absorbent septal support fixture to steadily hold the nose tip in order to prevent deformation. Then, the cartilage is inserted along with the dermis to safely raise the nose tip and also prevent the nose becoming flat.
3 What is the advantage of autogenous cartilage rhinoplasty ?
Autogenous cartilage rhinoplasty is easy to reshape comparing with prosthesis rhinoplasty
Autogenous cartilage rhinoplasty could take from nasal septal cartilage, ear cartilage and costal cartilage. The molding effect is natural and permanent. No rejection, No infection, not easy to deform

A. Nasal septal cartilage
Nasal Septal Cartilage is harvested from the septum of the nose. This is the most frequently used autologous material for tip correction.
B. Ear cartilage
Ear Cartilage is harvested from the ear, leaving no visible scars or changes in the ear shape. This cartilage is used for reshaping the nose tip.
C. Costal cartilage
Costal Cartilage is harvested from the rib, leaving a 2-3cm long scar. This cartilage is very strong and is generally used when there is not enough septal or ear cartilage
